February - Winterfest in Glen Park - Glen Park, Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. - at the base of picturesque Glen Falls. Free. Family events. Hayrides, petting zoo, hiking, refreshments. Sledding, snowshoeing, ice sculpting. Snow or no snow event will go on. Click here to view photos from past Winterfest events. Sponsored by the Village Youth & Recreation Committee.

March - Children's Egg Hunt - Island Park, Sunday, March 28, 2010, beginning at 11:00 a.m. - More information to follow.

April - Village Earth/Arbor Day Celebration - Date TBA. More information to follow.

May - October - Farmer's Market at the Mill. - Williamsville Water Mill at 56 E. Spring St. - Saturdays, May - October, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Fruits & vegetables, cheese, flowers, baked goods, wine, herbs, pasta, organic meats and sausages, jams and jellies, honey, handmade soaps and so much more. Meet your friends & neighbors, grab a fresh coffee and catch up on all the Village news. Free children’s activities and live entertainment on the steps of the Mill.

May - Annual Village of Williamsville Youth Street Hockey Tournament. - Saturday, May 29, 2010 - Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. More information to follow.

May - Memorial Day Parade. - Monday, May 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. - The parade starts at Williamsville South High School marching west down Main Street to Los Robles Street.

June - Strawberry Festival in Island Park. - Island Park, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 - Sponsored by Rotary Club to benefit Village of Williamsville Youth & Recreation Committee activities. Free entrance. Clown, face painting, etc. Tickets available for purchase for fresh strawberry sundaes and other refreshments.

July - Old Home Days. - Island Park, July 13 - July 16, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. - A popular celebration to honor a century-old community tradition. Parade, food, amusements and rides, beer tent, music and family entertainment. Visit oldhomedays.org for up-to-date, daily schedule.

July - Annual Village Garden Walk. - Date TBA from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Free. Dozens of Village residents' gardens open to the public. Come for a delightful stroll while picking up some garden tips and ideas. Village merchants hold Main Street sidewalk sales. August - Taste of Williamsville. - Island Park, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 - Local restaurants offer their best culinary delights. Food tickets are purchased on site the day of the event. Free Children's activities and headliner entertainment. Visit www.willvill.com for more information.

August - Family Movie Night in the Park. - Island Park, Friday, August 20, 2010 at Dusk. - Free. Bring your blankets, chairs and a picnic for family fun. Movie to be announced. Sponsored by the Village Youth & Recreation Committee.

October - Children’s Halloween Costume Contest/Parade - Saturday, October 30, 2010 - Costume contest starts at 5:30 p.m., Parade starts at 6:00 p.m. - Free. Costume contests at 5:30 p.m. with prizes and children's parade begins from Rite Aide/Hampton Inn parking lot then to Island Park. Cider and donuts, fun family activities. Sponsored by the Village Youth & Recreation Committee.

December - Holiday Tree Lighting at Village Hall and Bonfire & Refreshments in Island Park - Island Park, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. - Free. Join the Mayor in lighting the Tree in front of Village Hall. Take a short stroll back to Island Park and enjoy holiday singing around the bonfire, refreshments, and a special visit from Santa on the fire truck. Sponsored by the Village Youth & Recreation Committee.
